Kenny Powers heads to Mexico to lick his wounds and start a new, more anonymous life. Befriended by a neighboring Mexican family and a sultry bar singer named Vida, Kenny emerges from "the darkest hole I've ever been in" by planning a comeback.
Kenny decides to address the tension and problems between him, Aaron and Hector in hopes of patching up their relationship. He also pays Sebastian the money he owes him, tells his friend Vida goodbye and takes and passes a test with the Charro family. With all the loose ends tied up, Kenny looks forward to the future.
In this season two finale, former MLB pitcher Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) decides to leave Mexico and try to make it back into American baseball via the minor leagues. Along with his hometown friend Stevie (Steve Little), he returns to Shelby, North Carolina. This episode also features the song "He's Alright" by Kurt Vile.
